Election Day, Rubber Hits the Road.

I’ve knocked on over 50,000 doors, rang 30,000 phones, surveyed voters and enjoyed countless conversations with Cloverdale - Langley City residents.

I heard what challenges are unique to our community, and created a real plan to get us back on track.

✔ Deliver Skytrain to Langley City and other infrastructure improvements for our growing community

I’ll secure the necessary funding for transit improvements and other projects that support the current and future needs of Cloverdale - Langley City, and work with provincial and municipal partners to ensure they get prioritized, and completed.

✔ Restore positive, progressive and inclusive politics to Cloverdale - Langley City so everyone can feel safe, respected and included regardless of race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability or income

I will take immediate action to heal the harms caused by the current Member of Parliament’s socially conservative agenda - starting with convening a Fairness, Diversity and Inclusion Council to create solutions that reduce inequality in our community. The council will share key insights and advice to help me advocate for policy and legislative changes targeted specifically to inequalities Cloverdale-Langley City residents are facing.

✔ Ensure Cloverdale - Langley City gets its fair share of the multi-trillion dollar emerging green economy

I’ll promote real climate change solutions and work with the BC Centre for Innovation and Clean Energy to secure investments in clean, zero emission technologies and create sustainable jobs right here in Cloverdale - Langley City.

✔ Create an urban Indigenous cultural space and service delivery centre in Cloverdale - Langley City

I’ll work with Indigenous leaders and local partners to create a place for delivery of Indigenous services and celebration of Indigenous culture in Cloverdale - Langley City. I’ll also advocate for federal support for local Indigenous history education programs and cultural celebrations.

✔ Support the Performing Arts in Cloverdale - Langley City

I’ll secure federal support for accessible, sustainable spaces where the people of Cloverdale - Langley City can celebrate and experience our vibrant performing arts community.

✔ Fight for the needs of Cloverdale - Langley City farmers

I will convene an Agricultural Advisory Council of farmers and other agricultural industry partners to share insights and advice to help me advocate for policy and legislative changes that support strong and sustainable agriculture in Cloverdale-Langley City.

I will continue to listen so I can represent our entire community, and fight for the progressive values of our diverse and growing community.

✔ Ensure fairness and equality for everyone

I will fight for rights of everyone in Cloverdale - Langley City, and work to ensure everyone feels safe, welcome and has a fair chance at success - no matter their abilities, age, gender identity, income, race, religion or sexual orientation.

✔ Make life more affordable in Cloverdale - Langley City

I will fight to put more money in the pockets of middle class Canadians: From $10/day child care to Canada’s most comprehensive housing strategy ever, I will continue to make life more affordable for the middle class and those working hard to join it.

✔ Deliver support our community needs to build back stronger

I will fight for families, local businesses and the funding Cloverdale - Langley City needs to invest in our community and emerge from the pandemic stronger and more prosperous.

✔ Create climate change solutions that build a sustainable future.

I will fight climate change with evidence-based policy and promotion of green technology to provide us and our children a clean environment and a sustainable future.
